The smokey paprika mixed with the salty garlic gives these cauliflower steaks a great one-two punch for any meal!
Cauliflower is a tricky vegetable because it can have a very distinct smell if not seasoned JUUUSSST right. Well, thanks to Jessica Gavin’s recipe, it is my go-to recipe as of late. She also has a really yummy looking pesto sauce to go with it. I haven’t ever made it but it sounds really great.
What I love about these is the smoked paprika, salty taste. Also, they can be al dente which is the complete opposite of mushy:) which I personally don’t like.
INGREDIENTS:
- cauliflower
- smoked paprika
- parsley
- salt
- garlic
- black pepper
The secret is to cut em thick and NOT to over roast.
STEP #1:
Rinse cauliflower and slice thickly. They may crumble or break into small pieces if you don’t handle them very carefully. BUT it’s okay! Just throw the mis fits on the pan and roast them with the rest.
STEP #2:
Prepare seasoning in tiny bowl.
STEP #3:
Spray cauliflower steaks with olive oil or coconut oil. Both sides!
STEP #4:
Sprinkle seasoning over the top and bottom!
STEP #5:
Roast @ 500 degrees for about 10 min or until crispy and not mushy.
Top with chopped parsley.
